Our goal is to create an environment where you and your kids have a fun photography session full of laughter and smiles while we capture the essence of who you are! When the emotion is fun and connection happens, the images truly tell a thousand words! • Make sure your kids are well-rested and fed before your photography session.
• Try not to overpressure your kids about behavior and smiles, etc.  Kids are great and have great smiles and expressions when allowed to feel safe and comfortable vs. feeling like they have to perform. We have tons of experience with kiddos and promise a great time!
• In the case of a nervous child, we may ask the rest of the family to step away so that we can work one-on-one with your child and get some natural shots of that c(Sometimes they feel nervous if the rest of the family is watching them.)
• Please avoid asking your child to practice saying, “cheese” or other words that cause them to smile unnaturally. I promise I have special techniques to bring out those natural expressions that everyone adores!
• Coordinating outfits can be challenging especially when trying to be resourceful and economical with what is already in your closets.  Please don’t be afraid to ask me for suggestions and input.  I am interested in creating a look with you that coordinates and compliments.  I can help you come up with a color palette and find items you may already have to put together as well as give shopping suggestions.
• There are really no rules when it comes to colors, etc.  However, I may suggest colors that will work best at the location you have chosen.
• Avoid tshirts, baseball hats, and tennis shoes if at all possible.
• Accessorize!  Accessorize!  And bring lots of options for accessories.  Think hats, scarves, jewelry, etc.
• Layer! Layer!  Especially if you have a winter session booked. Layers are super trendy and give a complete fashion look.
• Don’t forget about hair, makeup and nails.  Consider getting your hair and makeup done by a professional. (I have a couple great recommendations if you need them.) A mani and pedi are definitely not necessary but something you might want to consider.
• Remember to HAVE FUN together as a family…after all, you are creating beautiful memories together.
